SJS has a LEGO League!
There are three divisions of LEGO League: LEGO League: Challenge (5th through 8th Grades), LEGO League: Explore (2nd through 4th Grades), and LEGO League: Discover (PreK through 1st Grades).
Each group meets for 2 hours after school and are coached by Mr. Trae Warner, SJS Middle School Math, Religion and our school’s Music Teacher.
Each week students are presented with a challenge. For their first meeting the students were challenged to construct a tall tower and a short tower. At the end of the meeting, students are encouraged to get creative and have fun! The goal of LEGO League is to build confidence, habits of learning and teamwork skills.
