Local author, Abby Meredith, visited our PreK2 through Third Grade students to read “Pickles and Her Ears”, the third book in her children’s book series, Abby’s Acres. Pickles the Basset Hound learns an important lesson on being careful about what you say and how your words can affect others.
Miss Abby brought along her 2 year old chicken, Snowflake, for the children to meet. Miss Abby shared chicken facts, talked about her farm in Sunshine, AR and how the children can write their own stories and become an author too!
